Episode 70 - Unpacking Design Life - Session 14 // EA Website UI and Mike Speaking at Conference
What do design bloggers think about when it comes to their website user interface and bounce rate? What are some ways to keep an audience engaged enough to stay and peruse the other pages of a blog?
In this episode, Mike talks about his next steps with his blog, Evolving Architect, where he’ll be redesigning the user interface to create a simple way for his audience to navigate his website. He also dives into the idea of reducing the number of people coming and immediately leaving his website. Mike talks about creating a good user flow through a website and the importance of keeping an audience engaged on posts within the same topics. Later in the episode, Mike shifts his focus to sharing a speaking engagement that he was sought out to participate in the fall of 2019. He shares his plan for how his talk will go and his method of avoiding stage fright.
