Every year, there are more people entering college with an increase in the number of people pursuing design related fields. Every designer who is now in the profession has had retrospective moments where we all know there are things we would do differently if we had a chance to go back in time. What are some words of advice for students pursuing design in college?

In this episode, Mike and Tim reflect on the things that they wish they knew and focused on back in architecture school. From things that are simple in thought, but hard to practice like pacing yourself, they share personal experiences with their advice. They also talk about the impact of the evolution of technology on the newer generations of people entering college and how students could leverage apps like Scholly to find scholarship opportunities to pay for college. Tim shares his experience as an introvert who avoided socializing in his freshman and sophomore years to finally opening up and enjoying his time learning with his peers.
